About Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines is more than just an airline. We’re a family of crewmembers united by a deep love for our home and a commitment to sharing the spirit of aloha with every guest. From our first flight between Honolulu and Hilo in 1929 to connecting Hawaiʻi with the world today, much has changed—but our heart remains rooted in the islands.
In everything we do, we’re guided by our core values: mālama (to care), hoʻokipa (hospitality), lāhui (community), mālama i ka ʻāina (stewardship of the land), and hoʻokō (excellence).
We’re proud of our island heritage and inspired by the responsibility to serve our people and our guests. We can’t wait to welcome you onboard and show you why we are more than just an airline.

History
For 90+ years, Hawaiian Airlines has been deeply rooted in the islands we proudly serve, guided by aloha, kuleana (responsibility), and a deep respect for our people, culture, and environment.
Since our first flight in 1929, we have remained Hawaiʻi’s hometown airline—connecting the islands and linking Hawaiʻi to the world with warmth and hospitality that reflect our island values. Today, we fly more than 10 million guests annually across a network that includes destinations throughout the Pacific, the U.S. mainland, and Asia.

Values and giving
At Hawaiian Airlines, sustainability stands for environmental stewardship and social impact—commitments that embody our core values and a culture of caring.
